Click WinBox twice to launch it (no installation required).
Navigate to "Neighbors".
Examine Winbox to see whether it can locate your router and its MAC address.
If your router appears on the list, MikroTik RouterOS's default login and password are admin and blank, respectively. Therefore, enter admin in the login box while leaving the password field empty, and then click the Connect button.
To reset RouterOS, go to System > Reset Configuration, check No Default Configuration, and then click Reset Configuration.
Now, the RouterOS will be restarted. Therefore, log back in after a reboot. You will now discover RouterOS with no settings.
